Duncan Morton III, CFA

Managing Director

Duncan Morton III, CFA has 20 years of financial services experience. Duncan is Managing Director of Summit Creek Capital LLC, an investment management company with interests in distributed energy generation and community development focused on sustainable food systems.

In addition, Duncan holds the Series 65 Investment Advisor Representative license and offers wealth management services through CONCERT Wealth Management, Inc., a registered investment advisor.

Prior to founding Summit Creek Capital LLC, Duncan worked with UBS Financial Services, Inc., as branch manager and vice president-investments in Sun Valley, Idaho. There, he focused on Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP), providing tax deferral strategies and building post-transaction investment portfolios. In addition, he provided individuals, families, and institutions with short and long-range wealth management services, including lending solutions, equity risk strategies, and financial and estate planning. Earlier, Duncan worked as a financial analyst at Moss Adams LLC in Seattle, Wash., advising privately-held companies and family limited partnerships with specific focus on valuations, estate and tax situations, and fairness opinions.

Duncan is a member of the CFA Institute and is a Chartered Financial Analyst; he earned a master’s degree in management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and bachelor’s degree in history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He serves as Treasurer on the board of directors of The Sage School in Hailey, Idaho.

As an avid skier, mountain biker, and golfer Duncan has been a resident of Idaho since 1998, with his wife and two kids.

 

Tyler Davis-Jeffers

Managing Director

Tyler Davis-Jeffers joined Summit Creek Capital in 2014 as a partner focused on portfolio management, risk assessment, and project finance. Tyler brings extensive experience in global capital market operations and analysis, offering an educated global perspective to the portfolio construction process.

In addition, Tyler holds the Series 65 Investment Advisor Representative license and offers wealth management services through CONCERT Wealth Management, Inc., a registered investment advisor.

Prior to joining SCC, Tyler worked for a family wealth office for 12 years, where he managed investments and directed global capital allocation. Tyler established and grew businesses in New York, London, and Singapore, structuring multiple regional, investment funds and hedging strategies throughout Asian markets. Tyler continues to provide advisory services for several Asia-based funds.

Tyler graduated with honors from Brown University, where he studied International Relations with a concentration in Developing Economies. Tyler is active in his community, continuing a history of charitable work since his youth, when he volunteered for youth organizations in Rhode Island, Thailand, and Idaho. Tyler served on the Board of Directors of the Blaine County Hunger Coalition for seven years, during which he served as Treasurer, and later Board President.  Currently, Tyler serves on the finance committee for the Hunger Coalition and coaches hockey for Sun Valley Youth Hockey. Tyler resides in Ketchum, Idaho with his wife and three children.
